Your opponent attacks high, your sword is in the middle. You can do this by moving your sword into their attack. Dive kicks and regular jumps are blocked by the High and Middle positions. Thrown swords are blocked by the High and Middle positions The three positions also defend against dive kicks, low kicks, and thrown swords: For example, if you make a low attack against an opponent who is holding their sword low, your attack will be stopped. If you attack an opponent and they are holding their sword in the same position as you, they will block it. If you land enough unarmed attacks of any type (1 dive kick, 1 low kick, or 2+ punches), the enemy will fall to the ground stunned, at which point you can finish them off by pressing attack. When you are without a weapon, you can only perform an unarmed attack from one height (standing), and it does not kill in one hit. You can perform a dive kick by jumping in the air and attacking, and a low kick by rolling and attacking, or ducking and attacking. You can also throw your sword by pressing up until your charater is holding their sword in a throwing position, and then pressing attack. To attack from any of these positions, press F. You can move your sword higher or lower by pressing up and down on your keyboard. When holding your sword, there are three positiongs you can hold it in: High, Middle, and Low. Cartwheeling and rolling can also be used to pick up swords.
Tap down while running, and you will do a cartwheel. If you press down while running, you will roll. If you do not have a sword equipped, standing over one and pressing down will pick one up. Pressing G by default will make your character jump. Holding a movement key will make your character run, while tapping it will make them take a short step. To move left or right, press the left and right arrows on your keyboard (WASD also works in single player).
